Tina attended the University of Washington in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. While her early childhood experience included programs at churches, volunteering at Seattle Children’s Hospital, community centers, and Seattle Public Schools (including Team Read and teacher assisting), her education had been mostly science- and technology-driven. Upon joining Northwest Center, she fell in love with the organization and its mission, as well as the families and staff. Since then, Tina has completed numerous trainings supporting early childhood development, specializing in Infant Mental Health as a certified Promoting First Relationships® provider, and working closely with the CHERiSH™ (Children Encouraged by Relationships in Secure Homes) team.
In her free time, Tina enjoys hiking, spending time with her husband and their Shiba pup, music, movies, theatre, board games, and all things Disney.
