Sophia Lara

Sophia was born and raised in Southern California. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Gonzaga University in 2020 and a Master of Science degree from Pacific University in Speech-Language Pathology in 2023 where she has had clinical experiences in school settings, community programs and in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Shortly after graduation, Sophia moved to Seattle to work as a Speech-Language Pathologist at Northwest Center. Her experience serving families and infants in the NICU with feeding and swallowing has lead to her passion in continuing to support birth-to-3 families, at Northwest Center. Empowering families in supporting the growth and development of their child is something Sophia has always been passionate about. In her free time, Sophia enjoys going on walks, baking, exploring Seattle, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
