Meredith “Mere” Ewen (they/them) is originally from Orlando, FL where they earned a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art. They have been teaching in Seattle since 2020. Throughout Mere’s career, they have worked in victim services, trauma-informed early learning, and with children of a variety of abilities and disabilities.
When away from work, Mere spends time crocheting with their two cats, Gracie and Toulouse, reading books about shipwrecks and transformative justice, and playing Dungeons and Dragons as a candy-motivated horse. You can also find them practicing ASL at Deaf events around Seattle and waltzing through an art museum or two.
