After growing up in Austin, TX, Kimmy attended the University of Alabama, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology. She then moved back to Texas to earn a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Texas Woman’s University in Dallas. Kimmy moved to Seattle in the summer of 2020 and loves the change of scenery. She has worked in outpatient geriatrics and skilled nursing facilities, but she has always loved working with kids. Kimmy is passionate about advocating for children and their families by ensuring families’ voices are being heard.
Outside of work, Kimmy enjoys reading, spending time with her husband and two cats, and traveling.
