A Pacific Northwest native, Julia earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Washington in 2008. She returned to the University of Washington for her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, which she earned in 2013. Julia has worked in outpatient orthopedics, home health, and pediatric physical therapy settings throughout Puget Sound. She enjoys partnering with families to build connection and ensure their routines and priorities are included in therapy.
Some of Julia’s additional work and trainings include lymphedema treatment certification (CLT), childcare advocacy, and supporting caregiver mental health. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, going to agility class with her dog, and getting outside as much as possible.
