Our Employment Consultation Process
Services for Any Stage in Your Employment Journey
Our Individual Employment (IE) services are designed to support people with disabilities based on their individual interests, goals, and career stages.
Tablist
Northwest Center Employment Services offers Community-Based Assessments (CBA), sometimes known as Community-Based Work Evaluation (CBWE). These let clients try out job tasks in real-life settings to assess their skills and interests.
Our Job Readiness and Preparation services support job seekers to discover their talents, goals, and interests, train for employment, and build professional and social skills. Some of the ways we support our clients include developing a plan to achieve their goals, working with them to become self-advocates, and identifying any potential workplace obstacles and solutions.
We can support students with disabilities ages 14-21 as they move from their final years of school to successful employment through Pre-Employment Transition Services (PreETS) and School-to-Work. Services include support with exploring careers, developing work skills, and finding good employment matches. We can also support students during employee orientation and adjusting to a new workplace, setting them up for job stability and success.
Our Job Development services include assisting clients with building resumes and writing cover letters, conducting research, networking, building business relationships, and locating competitive employment opportunities that align with individual goals.
We can provide long-term support on the job that is tailored to the individual, including 1:1 job coaching or monthly check-ins, to help individuals build independence and grow in their careers.
