Advocating for People with Disabilities
We at Northwest Center are dedicated to providing lifelong support for people with disabilities. As part of our program, we offer regular information sessions focused around topics of interest to those we serve. For this session, we will address the basics of advocating for your loved one with a disability. Our panel will include experts from various organizations that specialize in advocacy issues. We hope you will join us for this brief introduction to advocacy.

We made lots of friends at Just Say Oui!
We kicked off summer with our first ever wine tasting on June 17th. Thank you to everyone who joined for this amazing night of wines, food, and new friends.
Jack Cellars hosted the event at his fabulous wine shop in North Seattle – thanks Jack! Helping him pour/educate were Ray Bloom from Vinum Cellars and Oliver Beck from Cavatappi. PCC donated our tasty fare and King 5 stepped up to the plate, donating 16 Mariner box seat tickets, with parking!, for the raffle. Northwest Center staff members generously volunteered their time to talk about our programs and the benefit to the community of individuals with disabilities. We want to thank all of our supporters for making our first event a success!
We are planning another promotional event for August, so if you have suggestions or are interested in attending, use the Promo Event button and let us know!
